Hello my name is Kerry and am the mother of 2 children a boy and a girl. My husband and I have been married for 14 years and the journey has been a growing and bonding one for both of us. The little girl that you see on every page of Kerry's Kollectables is my very own daughter, Jordan.
Ever since I was 10 years old I knew exactly what I wanted to be....an artist. I created Kerry's Kollectables in 1997 and began creating graphics, then slowly moved to craft patterns and then collaborated with my husband to create Kerry's Kollectables Chore Chart Maker.
The Chore Chart Maker was a hit for us, and many of our customers love it and still do to this day. Well - the quilting bug never quite left me so I decided to combine both of my creative sides - my graphics and my little gift bags for your enjoyment. The bags are a big hit with many of my friends and I do hope you enjoy them as well. They are soooo fun to design and make. Actually it's becoming quite an obsession....must make bags, must make more bags!!!
Well to tell you a little about myself, I graduated from ACAD (Alberta College of Art and Design- Calgary, Alberta, Canada) in 1994, majoring in textiles. My intention was to become a graphic artist, but fate had other plans.
I LOVE good old girl movies. I was exposed to many old movies when I was growing up that I love still to this day. Like Jane Eyre, Now Voyager, Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility, The African Queen, Little Women (1950's version), Westward the Women, Miss Potter, etc. You know the kind of chick flicks that make you a better person and give you a boost of optomism. I like other movies, but these are my all time favorites!
Well I do hope you enjoy your stay,
